this is a page(s) from a book project of mine. each physical page is 26x10" (or 13x10" folded).
however what's shown here is a smaller mock book. the pages are printouts (epson k3 inks) on doubled sided matte paper. book is traditionally bound by hand and measures at roughly 7x9". what i'll do with the original pages remains to be seen.
This entire project is great but, as a book I can't help but feel I'm not really 'seeing' it the way it was meant to be seen. Any chance of you making more copies of this? The content is great and I would love to hold it and see it all together.
I have read quite a bit into book binding and I've even gone so far as to make a small book of my own. The binding was a disaster but, I enjoyed making it and developed an appreciation for good binders. Great craftsmanship all around.
i went through everyone of these, and this is a really fantastically nice project. i am super impressed. i would comment on them one by one but i just don't have that kind of time. are you going to sell this, or is it just for yourself, or what?
i've had people talk about buying the thing, were it available, on this and other forums. but realistically i don't see it happening. i am just a student, not some bigwig illustrator/fine artist. however, if i can find a place that will publish stuff in very small quantities i might publish a few and sell them for kicks.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
